The class is taught by internationally recognized instructor, Shifu Billy Greer, who teaches tai chi/qigong throughout Anne Arundel County and trains with top tai chi masters from around the world.

This class meets once a week at the Severna Park Community Center in Severna Park from 10:30 to 11:30 am. and covers basic tai chi and qigong exercises. New students can join at any time and the fee will be pro-rated ($14 per class).

You can make up missed classes by attending any of Jing Ying's "Tai Chi for Health & Wellness" or "Tai Chi for  Chronic Conditions" classes at Jing Ying's studio in Arnold up to a month after a Severna Park Community Center session ends. The only classes not available for make-up are the "Comprehensive Tai Chi" classes, which are by invitation only. Click here for the schedule of classes.

Wear loose, comfortable clothes suitable for active movement.

If you've never tried a Jing Ying class before, you can try your first class for free. If you decide not to continue, you don't owe anything. Click here to register for your free class.

Join at any time! You may enroll for the session, and make up any missed classes at our studio in Arnold OR your fee can be pro-rated. If you would like the fee pro-rated, you will need to make payment arrangements in person rather than through the registration link above.
You can make up any missed classes at Jing Ying's studio in Arnold (see above).


This session is also open to Jing Ying students who have a regular membership. If you are interested in attending classes on a different day/time, or more than once a week, ask us about our membership options. (There's no need to register for this class if you are a monthly member). Jing Ying members have benefits that session-based students do not, such as discounts on workshops and speciality classes
