Self Defense for the
Coming Zombie Apocalypse
(This event was rescheduled due to the storm and power outages on June 30th)
Saturday, July 14th from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm
Join us for a fun workshop that will help prepare you to protect
yourself, your family and friends against zombies. Instead of trying
to settle the age old argument about whether slow zombies or fast
zombies are the scariest, we will give you the tools you need to
defend against both. Use the controlled movement, mental
concentration and redirection skills of tai chi with slow zombies.
Use the power, agility, fluidity and footwork of northern shaolin
kung fu against fast zombies.
This workshop will cover what you need to do to prepare for the
coming apocalypse, how to avoid zombie encounters, and the best
methods for taking out zombies while reducing your chances of
becoming one yourself.
You will get good information that will help you
prepare for most disaster/emergency situations and you will learn
practical self-defense techniques that are effective against any
attacker, not just zombies.
Physical activity will be involved so wear loose, comfortable
clothing suitable for active movement (athletic pants and a t-shirt)
and bring a water bottle. (bottled water and gatorade available for
purchase at the workshop)
